Race Recap

Today I ran my first 10K, the Aflac Iron Girl Race at Green Lake in Seattle. I beat my pace time by over 30 seconds per mile, and felt great at the end! My half-marathon isn't until the end of November, so this was a good interim race to get the feel for things. There were over 2000 women running in the 5K and 10K races. It was so exciting! I don't have any pictures to share; but when I get my cheering squad out in November, I'll have Luke document my efforts. I guess I may turn into a runner after all! Thanks Luke for watching the kids so I can have training time- you rock.
