Breakfast Anyone?

This morning Mackenzie and Mason made us breakfast in bed. It sounded like the kitchen was exploding from upstairs- but they managed to do pretty well. We had an appetizer of pistachios, and then fresh blueberries and a mostly toasted waffle. They carried everything upstairs on cookie sheets. It was so cute! They were so proud of themselves they kept asking if we liked it. We both had notes on our bedside tables that said "Stay in bed mommy/daddy do not come out!" Aah, the joys of parenting!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Every good birthday starts with donuts!
Delaney was spoiled with so many fun presents- thanks to all of our families!
This is a real ice cream sundae!
And it's good....

Doctor Visit

Delaney had her two-year check up this morning. She outweighs her big brother (29lb) and big sis (27lb) at this age, but has them beat on height by quite a bit. So her height (37.5in) puts her well over the 100th percentile, and her weight (30lb) is in the 86th percentile. More importantly, she is fabulously healthy and had lots to say to the doctor this morning.

Happy Valentine's Day

We thought we might catch the low tide at Alki Beach, and spent the morning playing in the sand together. It was fun!

Colonial Talbott

Looking mighty fine for today's Colonial America simulation in 5th grade! How 'bout those ruffles?
Why yes, fine maiden, I would be delighted to fight for your honor.

Geocaching

Team Talbott was 3 for 3 this morning as we ventured out geocaching in the sun. We found a teeny tiny one by the library (2 inches high). Fun morning!

Haircuts

I know these pix are a little blurry; but the kids got cute haircuts today, and I wanted to share.

Family Bike Ride

With Kenz on her bike, Mason on the trail-a-bike behind Daddy, and Mommy pulling Delaney in the trailer, the five of us can actually cover some miles on our bikes. We like to tour the neighborhood playgrounds; stopping to play for a few minutes at each one. We can't resist the sunny weather.
