Our Baby

Isn't she fun? A little bit of magic.

The other morning Kenzie asked if we could have a 4th kid. I told her we loved having three and that we were probably going to stick with that. She said she really wanted four. I said, sorry... and she said "well, who do I need to talk to about it?"

Tradition...

So anyone who has been to our house has probably seen these over the years- we have stickees for Halloween and Thanksgiving. The coolest part is that Joel and I used to put these up when we were this age. Talk about withstanding the test of time!

Mom Thoughts

Today the kids tumbled off the bus and were SO pumped about school.
"It was great! It was more than great! It was fantastic!"
While polishing off an entire box of mac and cheese, three turkey franks, and a half a jar of pickles- they took turns sharing the things that happened. Mackenzie has inherited Grandma Sandgathe and Mommy's gift of remembering songs, and usually has a new one each day that she sings to all of us. It is pretty impressive. After lunch I gave them some new socks and underwear I had picked up at the store and you would think it was Christmas Day! They were yelling and running around, "Thanks mom! I love these mom! These are so great! Can I try them on? Look! Look!" Anyway, it was so cute I had to laugh at their exuberance.

Is it Fall?

Our Pacific Northwest Policy is that if it isn't raining hard, then we can still go outside. This trail is right by our house and we spend lots of time exploring on it.
Playing under the bridge.
Hey, wait up!
Check this out!
I even have an attitude outside!

Hiking

Although these pictures don't do it justice, this is a spectacular hike just 15 minutes from our house. We booked a babysitter, grabbed some sandwiches, and climbed up the steep (but not too long) side of Little Si Mountain. We even made it back to the car just after sunset.

The lighting is weird; but the view was awesome!

Doin' The Puyallup

As I'm sure you can tell by the pictures, we had a really fun day with the kids and all the things to see and do at the fair!

Fishing

One of the coolest parts of the fair was a catch and release for kids sponsored by the dept of Fisheries and Wildlife.
Both kids got to catch their own fish- it was awesome!

Daddy's School

Cutie Kindergartener and Daddy decided the weather was so nice (and continues to be nice) on Friday that they ought to ride to work together.

They had so much fun riding to school!

Team Talbott School Days

Brother and Sister Duo.
They may be the cutest kids ever!
Getting on the bus for kindergarten and preschool.
My big man, Mason.
You know, I wasn't as emotional as I thought I would be, but when I saw Mason's little head peeking out the window I got a little sad. What a milestone for Team Talbott!
