Australia Day

It was Australia Day at Mason's school today. The kids acted out a story about animals who get trapped by a hungry crocodile. Mason was a platypus; that's Zach the Echidna.

This is blurry but you can tell he's a platypus.

Here are the animals "inside" the croc. We ate a feast of australian foods like kiwi, anzac cookies, etc. It was cute!

Gymnastics Girls

Mackenzie and Mason take gymnastics each week; but Laney likes to wear a leotard and get ready with them. I was trying to catch the two girls in their leotards together. Laney always closes her eyes to smile!

Vashon Island Birthday Party

While Luke was at the Math Olympiad Competition I took the kids on the ferry to Vashon Island for my friend Meredith's son's birthday party. It was a lovely day.

Hiking Twin Falls

Erin wasn't on spring break this week so Luke took the kids hiking. Twin Falls is only about a 15 minute drive from where we live. They made it the whole four miles- except Delaney, who eventually hitched a ride in the backpack.

Sun and Spring

Luke goes mountain biking every Sunday morning. The kids and I used to walk the mile to church together and meet Luke there. We haven't been able to walk since I've been wearing my boot with my stress fracture. It was so nice to walk there this morning. Here I am following the three musketeers.
