After the Run...

Do I look worn out? We wandered over to the Seattle Center House and watched some live performances and the kids got to drive a cool model train.

This picture doesn't do it justice; but the whole village was quite elaborate and festive. It was about the size of our driveway.

First Half Marathon

Today was my first ever half-marathon run. I ran it in 2:14:48, or a 9:52 mile, which was way faster than the 10:30 split I was hoping for. The weather was perfect and Luke and the kids were all there to cheer me on. I will try to post more pix later. Thanks again to everyone for their well-wishes and support!

Happy Holidays

We spent Saturday afternoon decorating the tree and hanging stockings, etc. The kids did a beautiful job on the tree this year.

Wahclella Falls

The day after Thanksgiving we took a family hike to Wahclella Falls on the Columbia River Gorge. I didn't take any pix, but mom took this one of me and you can see the falls in the background.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving at Uncle Joel and Aunt Tess' house in Portland. The girls brought out their fancy dresses for the occasion. Everything was tasty and we had fun seeing everyone!

Every time Luke saw me snuggling with my adorable nephew Eli he would say, "don't get any funny ideas holding that baby!" I guess that means he doesn't want a fourth? Eli is SO cute!!!

Silly Laney

We were playing around Sunday and I grabbed the camera- it was hard to get her to stay still for more than a second, though!

Two years old in a few short months! Wow.

Turkey Trot

Mackenzie and Mason ran in the Turkey Trot 1K this morning. It was a perfectly gorgeous fall day, and they were "super fast"!

Delaney cheered them on.

Happy Halloween!

A warm and breezy night of trick or treating made for a very fun Halloween. All three kids were troopers; and the little giraffe really got into it!

I know what this is...
Here with Lauren the poodle, Hailey the skunk, and Haley the cat.

Post Trick or Treating

The prettiest witch we've ever seen.
Sweaty from all that running- time for candy.
Chocolate and a runny nose.....mmmmmmmm
