Awesome Birthday Party

Today we went to Claire's birthday party just past Alki beach. The tidepools were spectacular! Mason held an eel, a crab, a seastar, and many other unsuspecting creatures. He was absolutely in heaven, not looking up from the pools for an hour. Afterwards we walked across the street to the park for a picnic. This party was so perfect for him, I kind of wish we had thought of it! He was just entranced by all of the little creatures. Very fun!

Miss Shelley had a little shrimp in this shell.
Miss Christen is pointing out a "crichton?" on the rock and some other squirting creature underneath. She definitely had the "Northwest Knowledge".

Tidepool Walk

Miss Laney absolutely would not look up at the camera, because she was so entertained by the rocks. A little salty, but tasty.

Her new favorite word is "no". She clearly enunciates it. "No!"

Discovery Preschool Barbeque

Our second bbq of the day was at The Discovery Preschool. We have had a fantastic experience here; and Mason's teachers were fabulous. Pictured below are two of the three; we loved Ms. Jen too!

Hopefully Mason will only ride in the front seat of one of these in his lifetime!
Everybody got to pose in the firetruck.

The Sisters Talbott hung out in the squad car.
